Proper scheduling and perhaps additional headcount for a team/organization will avoid UNREASONABLE OTs. I hope you don’t get me wrong. Practicality speaking, OT means MONEY. But having an OT because nobody can cover a certain time frame and you’re NOT even advised is just not acceptable.
Underman.
OTs can be avoided if proper number of headcounts are met in a team/oraganization. This will minimize OT pays, stressed employees and especially PISSED-OFF employees.
Lack of communication.
Proper cascading of information to the team/organization is a MUST. Asking/texting somebody superior than you just to confirm if you need to extend because the schedule seems to be wrong is DISPLEASING. If OTs are needed, it is appropriate to inform the person ahead of time to avoid HEART ATTACK because the reason is just not acceptable. I hate surprise OTs!
I was browsing one of my friend’s facebook account and I saw a link regarding one of the Presidentiables for 2010. Guess what? It entertains me a lot more than watching Vice Ganda’s video clips from different comedy bars and from Showtime so I tried to search more videos in youtube and so I got this. I can’t believe I’m into politics now! Eeeeew!

THOUGHTS: Thumbs up! Very logical. I like the way he explains.
I get to know this song when I was still in Baguio. I played it once when my officemate told me to listen to it then I can’t remember now how many times I played the song over and over . I just sooo love the song. Very easy guitar chords, nice melody and nice message too.
About the song Luka:
A few years ago, Suzanne Vega used to see this group of children playing in front of her building, and there was one of them, whose name was Luka, who seemed a little bit distinctive from the other children. She always remembered his name, and she always remembered his face, and she didn’t know much about him, but he just seemed set apart from these other children that she would see playing. His character is what she based the song Luka on. In the song, the boy Luka is an abused child — in real life Suzanne don’t think he was. She thinks he was just different.
Lyrics:
My name is Luka
I live on the second floor
I live upstairs from you
Yes I think you’ve seen me before
If you hear something late at night
Some kind of trouble. some kind of fight
Just don’t ask me what it was
Just don’t ask me what it was
Just don’t ask me what it was
I think it’s because I’m clumsy
I try not to talk too loud
Maybe it’s because I’m crazy
I try not to act too proud
They only hit until you cry
After that you don’t ask why
You just don’t argue anymore
You just don’t argue anymore
You just don’t argue anymore
Yes I think I’m okay
I walked into the door again
Well, if you ask that’s what I’ll say
And it’s not your business anyway
I guess I’d like to be alone
With nothing broken, nothing thrown
Just don’t ask me how I am [X3]
My name is Luka
I live on the second floor
I live upstairs from you
Yes I think you’ve seen me before
If you hear something late at night
Some kind of trouble, some kind of fight
Just don’t ask me what it was
Just don’t ask me what it was
Just don’t ask me what it was
And they only hit until you cry
After that, you don’t ask why
You just don’t argue anymore
You just don’t argue anymore
You just don’t argue anymore
Fact:
Luka means “wound” or “bruise” in Malay
So I think the boy that Suzanne used to see is really an abused child…
